How to choose the right modular helmet?

A good modular helmet offers the perfect balance between the safety of a full-face helmet and the convenience of an open-face helmet. If you want to ride in comfort all year round, opt for a model with dual P/J approval, such as the Neotec 3, which allows you to ride with the chin bar open. Check the quality of the ventilation, the interior comfort (removable/washable), and intercom compatibility. And if you cover a lot of miles, go for a lightweight shell, well soundproofedand stable at high speeds. Finally, build quality can make all the difference over time: Shoei, for example, is clearly top-tier.

To keep your Neotec 3 performing at its best, remember to clean the inside by hand regularly with warm water and mild soap. Never use harsh chemicals, especially on the screen or shell, so as not to damage the coatings. The sun visor can be gently wiped with a microfiber cloth. And as always: store your helmet out of the heat, in its cover, and avoid leaving it on your motorcycle when it's 30°C.
