How to choose the right jet helmet?

A good jet helmet strikes a subtle balance between lightweight design, visibility, comfort and safety. Check that the helmet is certified (ECE 22.06 or later) and offers a good field of vision. If you ride often, opt for a model with an integrated sun visorlike the F31, so you won't need sunglasses. Finally, consider the interior comfort (removable/washable) and intercom compatibility if you like to stay connected. And as always: try on your helmet before heading out on an adventure!

To extend the life of your HJC F31, remember to clean the inside by hand regularlywith a little mild soap, especially after periods of intense heat. Clean the visor with a microfiber cloth and warm water (avoid harsh products that could damage the UV protection). If you want to keep your helmet looking like new, store it away from moisture and impactin its original bag. And don’t forget: a helmet should be replaced after about 5 years of use.
