The HJC i101 was designed to change this: its APC – Advanced Polycarbonate Composite shell, available in two sizes, features a compact design that reduces overall weight while optimizing comfort and balance on the head.

Its rotating chin guard maintains a compact appearance in both open and closed positions, unlike some modular helmets that lose their discreet look once raised. The locking mechanism is concealed within the helmet's design, improving wind isolation while providing a sleeker look without any visible controls.

Facing you, the Pinlock-ready HJ-53 shield – with a lens included in the box – filters 99% of UV rays and features a scratch-resistant coating. The i101 also includes a dynamic sun shield that can be adjusted up to 8 mm in height, allowing precise protection adjustment according to the light conditions. The ACS ventilation system completes the setup with 3 air intakes and 2 air vents, optimized for efficient airflow.

Key Features of the HJC i101

APC – Advanced Polycarbonate Composite shell: compact and lightweight design, two shell sizes.

Rotating chin guard: maintains a slim profile in both open and closed positions.

Concealed lock: improved wind isolation, sleeker design.

Dual P/J approval: helmet approved in both closed and open chin guard positions.

HJ-53 shield: Pinlock-ready, lens included, 99% UV protection.

Dynamic sun shield: height adjustable up to 8 mm for precise adjustment.

ACS ventilation: 3 optimized air intakes and 2 air vents.

New micrometric buckle and glasses groove.

Technical Specifications

Helmet type: compact modular, P/J approved (full-face and jet)

Shell material: APC – Advanced Polycarbonate Composite

Number of shell sizes: 2

Chin guard: rotating, concealed lock

Main shield: HJ-53 clear, scratch-resistant coating, 99% UV protection

Pinlock: lens included in the box

Sun shield: dynamic, integrated, adjustable up to 8 mm in height, without optical distortion

Ventilation: ACS – Advanced Channeling Ventilation System, 3 air intakes and 2 air vents

Interior: Oeko-Tex antibacterial fabric, promoting moisture release and quick drying

Pads: removable, washable, and interchangeable cheek pads and top liner across all sizes

Closure: new micrometric buckle

Glasses groove

Included in the box: Pinlock lens

Replacement shield: different part number depending on helmet size (refer to the manufacturer's compatibility chart)

Sizes: up to 2XL

Weight: approximately 1,600 to 1,700 g depending on size and measurement sources; weight may vary depending on helmet size, to be checked on the official technical sheet

Approval: ECE 22.06, dual P/J approval

Why Choose the HJC i101?

The i101 addresses one of the main criticisms of modular helmets: their bulky appearance once the chin guard is raised.
