Its PB-SNC2 shell is handcrafted in Japan with layered and reinforced fibers, featuring a peripheral belt. Its rounder, smoother, and stronger shape is designed to promote sliding in the event of a fall, thereby reducing the energy transmitted to the inside of the helmet. This is what Arai calls the Ricochet concept.

It is equipped with a high-performance Free Flow System ventilation, a soft, breathable, and removable Eco Pure interior, and a VAS-V Max Vision visor system with a Pinlock screen included.
